ADHD Coaching for Parents
Parent and family ADHD coaching is a supportive partnership focused on understanding how ADHD shows up within your family system. We take time to explore what’s really happening - the needs, nervous systems, and patterns at play, so you can respond with more clarity and intention, even in tough moments.
There’s no shortage of parenting advice online, but what works for one family doesn’t always work for another. Coaching is where we slow things down and tailor strategies that fit your child, your values, and your family life. The focus isn’t on fixing anyone - it’s on understanding and support.
As your coach, I don’t tell you how to parent or give prescriptive advice. We work collaboratively to notice what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and how to respond in ways that feel more aligned with how you want family life to feel. Together, we build tools and perspectives that support connection, regulation, and confidence - for both you and your child.
Coaching offers a non-judgemental space to pause, reflect, and experiment with practical strategies. It’s about progress over time, not doing things “perfectly.” We learn what helps your family feel calmer, more connected, and more in balance then we build from there.
Coaching is different from therapy. It doesn’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it isn’t focused on analysing the past. Coaching is forward-focused and practical: you bring your lived experience as a parent; I bring structure, curiosity, and support. Together, we turn understanding into action that fits real family life.
At its heart, family ADHD coaching supports you to respond, rather than react, so you can parent with more confidence, compassion, and clarity.

How Parent Coaching Sessions work:
Free Consultation
A relaxed, no-obligation conversation
We talk about what’s happening in your family and what you’re hoping support might look like
You can ask questions and see if coaching with Mindset feels like a good fit
Initial Session (Information-Gathering)
A space to understand your child, your family context, and current challenges
We explore what’s working, what feels hard, and what support is needed right now
We gather information that may inform our work together, including strengths, needs, values, family dynamics and the environments your children are navigating
Ongoing Coaching Sessions
Each session is guided by what’s most relevant for you and your family, we pick a clear focus each session and you walk away with either clarity or some strategies that you are confident with and have the capacity to try
We explore patterns, build awareness, and develop practical, compassionate strategies
Sessions are flexible and responsive as family needs change over time
Session Frequency & Length
I typically recommend starting with five sessions over five weeks to build understanding and momentum
However, if that doesn’t suit you, feel free to choose how many sessions you want and how often we meet. Our booking link is available to you 24/7 to book sessions up to six months in advance. This is especially helpful if you have a preferred time in the week and you’d like to secure several weeks in a row
